#’S ON THE SCALE ARE EVERYTHING TO ME!!!!

Happy Hump Day Buddies,

rn

Hope all is well with everyone!

rn

As my title states #’s on the scale are everything to me,  that # means I have had a good week or a bad week that # means I have stayed on track or I haven’t I wish it weren’t so but I would be lying if I said it wasn’t…I am not in a place yet where those #’s on the scale or just a # like a lot of you here are….If when I weigh in on Wenesday morning and those #’s are up it ruins my whole day and if they are down then I am floating on cloud 9.

rn

I hope to some day have the mentality where I don’t focus so much on what the scale says but for now it is everything to me.

rn

I do have good news today…On last weeks weight in I found out after taking two weeks off from W/W and the gym that I had gained 5.6 lbs back I was devasted but not shocked well a little shocked as I didn’t think I had re~gained that much back.  Well on todays weigh in I lost 6.6 lbs so not only in one week did I loose everything I had regained but also lost one extra pound…I was soooooo excited and as I said early I am floating on cloud 9.  It usually takes me weeks to un~do that kind of damage.

rn

So this is what I mean that #’s on the scale are everything to me…Sad but true!

rn

Thanks for listening talk to you all soon,

You know, the numbers mean everything to all of us whether we want to admit it or not.  lol
Congrats on losing all that you had gained back, and then some!  That’s awesome!

I echo Catrina’s thoughts. They mean a lot to me too, although I am working hard on NOT letting it affect my whole day…

So congrats to you my friend! VERY exciting news, for sure!!!

Don’t sink your progress by focussing on #….    Especially in you train at all…  Lean muscle mass is much denser and weighs more than fat so IT IS POSSIBLE to loose fat without the scale moving…  Scales like any other tools, are valuable only if properly used…  In case you have an occasion when the scale doesn’t move… measure you waist, before you frown your mouth…  KEEP UP the GREAT work…  Aiiiggghhhtttt!!!  Mark — Madison, Ohio

I know what you mean, but now I really try to focus on how my clothes fit. I have only lost a little weight since being here but my clothes are fitting so much better. Really try and not let the numbers discourage you and make your day crappy, easier said than done I know. Inches are sometimes better lost than pounds, keep that in mind when the scale isn’t smiling on you.

Those numbers mean alot too me too!  You’re not alone!  But, we have to like any movement downward even if it’s just one pound.  Not all weeks will be the big 3 or 4.  And, not every week will have 1 either.  I think if you eat right and workout, the scale will eventually move.  But, if you don’t see movement in about 2 weeks, maybe it’s time to make changes to the plan.

Sometimes taking time off from the routine is a good thing!

    Great job!

Congrats sweetie………..I agree with you. I know some people say look at the inches as well……but when the numbers move on the scale…….that’s what gets me going.

    Keep it up…..you’re doing awesome.

I think the number on the scale plays a MAJOR part on our journey and saying that it doesn’t would be a lie.  I am glad you recognize it and are dealing with this the best way you are capable of right now.  Hopefully, one day you will deal with it better, but for now, recognizing it, is half the battle!! Congrats on your loss my friend!
